.: Maybe

Maybe
Oh if I could pray and I try, dear
You might come back home, home to me
Maybe
Whoa, if I could ever hold your little hand
Oh you might understand
Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, yeah
Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe dear
I guess I might have done something wrong
Honey I’d be glad to admit it
Oh, come on home to me!
Honey maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe yeah
Well I know that it just doesn’t ever seem to matter, baby
Oh honey, when I go out or what I’m trying to do
Can’t you see I’m still left here
And I’m holding on in needing you
Please, please, please, please
Oh won’t you reconsider babe
Now come on, I said come back
Won’t you come back to me!
Maybe dear, oh maybe, maybe, maybe
Let me help you show me how
Honey, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe
Maybe, maybe, maybe, yeah
Maybe, maybe, maybe, yeah
Ooh!

Avrei potuto scegliere anche “Get it while you can”… e forse la troverete in qualche altro post, perché ultimamente mi sono (re)innamorata di Janis e sono nel mood…

Comunque il succo è che ancora non ho tagliato una fetta, e quindi non so… maybe the cake is good, maybe not… I don’t know yet, but….. ma probabilmente sarà squisita, perché ho fatto la prova dello stecchino prima di toglierla dal forno.. eh eh… in ogni caso vi regalo la ricetta di questa delizia: torta di mele con ricotta, mascarpone e noci, yes apple pie with ricotta, mascarpone and nuts, here is the recipe

250 gr di ricotta
250 gr di mascarpone
200 gr di zucchero (sugar)
250 gr di farina (flour)
1 bustina di lievito (baking powder)
3 uova
10 noci (nuts)
liquore per dolci o limone (liqueur for cakes or lemon juice)

Warm your oven to 180°C and cut the apples in slices, then let them in some liqueur or just lemon juice if you do not want alcohol in it.
Whip the eggs white stiff (this is optional), then add the ricotta and the sugar, mix it well.
Then add the egg yolks, the mascarpone, the grinded nuts and the flour.
Pour everything in a baking pan after putting some butter and a veil of flour on the inner surface.
Decorate with the apple slices on top and put some flakes of butter here and there on top.
Bake at 180°C for abot 50 minutes. After 40 minutes try and insert a toothpick and see if it comes out dry *_*

Maybe… I’ll tell you how good it is… maybe not
