…and to sweep tears away, muffin and apples…
Recipe is simple and plain. For 6 muffins:
70 gr flour
35 gr butter
40 gr sugar
some black chocolate
some cocoa powder
Cut the apples in small pieces. Chop the chocolate. Mix the egg with the sugar. Add the butter, the flour, the cocoa powder and the baking powder. Add some milk if you think it’s too thick. Add the minced chocolate pieces. Put some of the cream in the muffins’ molds. Blend in the pieces of apple. Cook for 20-25 minutes at 180 °C

When you think a new year should start better, but it does not… cook for yourself something reminding you of good times….
So prawns and anchovies…. simple but crispy.
marinateli con olio, limone, prezzemolo. Poi fate un misto di olio, pangrattato e prezzemolo. Ricopriteli e gratinateli. Se volete aggiungete anche poco pomodoro.
Oil, lemon, parsley. And cover them in breadcrumbs mixed with same ingredients. Same for prawns and for anchovies.
Taste of fish… taste of an island in my memories and in the greek sea…
Chocolate, lemon and ginger ? hum…. sounds those kind of weird dark Christmas things….
Well… yes, and it’s good !
Ho provato questo cioccolato Novi con limone e zenzero
be’..
I know… I missed Christmas. Maybe it was wanted, I’m not sure. But what had made me feel good these days was pizza. Yes pizza again. Looks quite…. ordinary. But look: making pizza on your own can really make you feel good. So I did it once and I did it again.
Made the pasta: it is approx 150 gr of flour, then some water, olive oil, salt and most important the baking.
150 gr di farina – flour (30% manitoba)
lievito di birra – brewer’s yeast
olio evo – extra virgin olive oil
acqua – water
sale – salt
you must let it grow for about 2 hours or more. Then you stretch it out in a pan and let it grow some more time, say 30 minutes.
Then you put the tomato with some oil in it, on the pasta and start the cooking in the oven at 200 °C
The overall time is about 30 minutes, so, after 10 minutes or less (you have to experience with your own oven) you take it out and add the mozzarella and the toppings you like.
And this is my outcome
It does make you feel good.
Just the way Carly Rose says when she sings Nina Simone. Well I don’t usually watch X-factor or america’s got talent or things like those, but Carly deserves some of your time. Like my pizza.
