Rice is quantized. Il riso è quantizzato, nel senso che i suoi granelli possono essere considerati i “quanti” di riso. But cheese can be made in pieces small ad lib. So risotto ai 2 formaggi – 2 types cheese risotto – is a quantum-not-quantum thing.
Ok, enough with weird thoughts… in fact is a very simple thing:
– sautéed butter + onion * soffrittino di cipolla
– rice * riso
– 2 cheese type * 2 formaggi
just cook the rice in some broth, and add it to the sautéed
in the end add the cheese and blend
As you can see it’s a very small serving, but I’m a lover of small servings. They’re healthy and, if you are still hungry, after a dish, you can eay some fruit or a yogurt or some other light food 🙂
Languages are funny sometimes. In italian “quantico” is an adjective, but in english you have to use “quantum” as an adjective. And “quantum”, actually, is a latin word. And “ad lib” refers (again) to the latin “ad libitum”, when, in italian, you say “a piacere”.
