.: Fallin’

Nor a romantic neither a new recipe, but a good one. Chickpeas polpette or egg-falafel

200 gr chickpeas – ceci
onion (shallot) – cipolla (scalogno)
parsley – prezzemolo
cumin – cumino
coriander – coriandolo
nutmeg – noce moscata
1 egg – 1 uovo
breadcrumb – pangrattato
salt – sale

Chop the onion and add the spices – tritate lo scalogno e aggiungete le spezie. Chop the (precooked) chickpeas, then mix all the ingredients (some breadcrumb too)* Tritate i ceci (precotti), poi mescolate tutto (un po’ di pane va anche dentro il misto)

Make some balls and roll them in the breadcrumb * fate delle polpettine e impanatele nel pane.

Fry carefully, for they burn very quickly * Friggete con cautela perché bruciano molto velocemente.

They’ll be falling away very quickly 🙂 espcially if you serve them with batbout bread and eat them with your fingers

I keep on fallin’
In and out of love
With you
Sometimes I love ya
Sometimes you make me blue
Sometimes I feel good
At times I feel used
Lovin’ you darlin’
Makes me so confused…

.: Deep in coffee

Sometimes you need a boost of energy and sweetness… to tell dream from reality…

So take:

250 gr of mascarpone cheese
2 eggs
3 spoons of sugar

whipp the egg whites and mix all.

Then take your favourite biscuits and wet them in some ginseng (o regular) coffee and put them on the bottom

then share it with your dream and try to find out if it’s a dream or it’s real

Don’t wake me up right now,
I need to see if this dream is gonna last, till I get to see you again.
I don’t want to wake up, just, stay right there.
I know this dream is a dream, but i know it could be real

.: Probably me

What? you need energy ?… ok… eggs and cheese………

Very simple recipe: mix an egg, grated parmigiano-reggiano, some breadcrumb and more cheese cubes if you like them

then fry and turn…eh eh.. turning is the difficult part

and what about making it perfectly round ?

Well… energy will flow with any shape 🙂

I hate to say it
I hate to say it, but it’s probably me
You’re not the easiest person I ever got to know
And it’s hard for us both to let our feelings show
Some would say I should let you go your way
You’ll only make me cry
If there’s one gal, just one gal
Who’d lay down his life for you and die
It’s hard to say it
I hate to say it, but it’s probably me

.: Fire

Generally speaking, some things are sources of energy, but may have side effects…

Ginseng is believed to boost energy and enhance wellbeing, so I am trying it in my coffee and see if it’s helping me against hot-weather-tiredness

with a croissant, of course and, for this time, it is a bought one…don’t blame me please ! This is the coffee I bought yesterday, by Corsini

the perfume is delicious and the taste is different from regular coffee, but I like it. About the energy, I still don’t know what to say but… this coffee sure is a good alternative to the usual one

Let’s touch the fire of ginseng…
