Take some flour, mix it with some water and make a cream. Cut some slices of (solid) mozzarella and plunge them in the flour cream. Then cover them in grated bread and fry them in hot oil.
crispy lovely cheese
don’t feel guilty… it’s a minor cause to your pleasure
What? you need energy ?… ok… eggs and cheese………
Very simple recipe: mix an egg, grated parmigiano-reggiano, some breadcrumb and more cheese cubes if you like them
then fry and turn…eh eh.. turning is the difficult part
and what about making it perfectly round ?
Well… energy will flow with any shape 🙂
I hate to say it
I hate to say it, but it’s probably me
You’re not the easiest person I ever got to know
And it’s hard for us both to let our feelings show
Some would say I should let you go your way
You’ll only make me cry
If there’s one gal, just one gal
Who’d lay down his life for you and die
It’s hard to say it
I hate to say it, but it’s probably me
“la fatica che implica la diversità può essere pensata come alla fatica di un esercizio che ci fortifica”
“The pain associated with diversity can be thought of as the pain of exercise. You have to push yourself to grow your muscles. The pain, as the old saw goes, produces the gain. In just the same way, we need diversity—in teams, organizations and society as a whole—if we are to change, grow and innovate.”
“How diversity makes us smarter“ – Katherin W. Phillips (2014)
So I decided to make a light batter: no egg, just flour, water and a bit of sparkling wine… to fry mozzarella slices again
the batter doesn’t look so nice, but I can guarantee that it works
just put the mozzarella slices in to it, then into breadcrumb and again batter and breadcrumb… and fry
dry them from the oil excess… and it’s done
maybe you can try different type of wine or even beer.. I think beer would work good ! The key is… try different things. DIversity is the key. To everything.
I lost almost 5 kgs during the last 5 weeks. Don’t ask me how. Only rational answer is “emotions”. I had a lot of different strong emotions. People I care for had some serious health problems. And I met some real wonderful, smart, sensitive, kind person. Emotion is what can stress you and what can make you happy. Emotion is what makes you burn calories and feel alive. So my recipe for a good diet is commit to good habits and live, live, live. Ciò che ci rende umani è l’emozione. Volete stare bene ? Vivete, ogni momento. Datevi agli altri, appassionatevi, spendetevi, innamoratevi.
So tonight I felt like cooking something tasty and kind of lustful. In a word: something fried. Fried mozzarella. It is sooooo simple, quick and yummy.
Oil for frying
Cut some mozzarella slices (1 cm). You better buy that non-watery one.
Put it in flour, and cover the slices very well
Beat the egg with some salt and pepper. Then make a double egg+breadcrumb covering: ut them in egg, then in breadcrumb, then again in the egg and again in breadcrumb. Meanwhile warm the oil very well and… fry !
Turn them quickly and often cause they will be ready very quicly and you must prevent mozzarella from melting. Then put them on some paper
I also made a small omelette with the rest of the egg and breadcrumb. And that’s it
You’ll love it
And I found love where it wasn’t supposed to be
Right in front of me
We love bad things. That’s the truth. But what really are “bad things” ? Some things can really do us harm, but mostly, tasty food is not bad if you only have it once in a while. I don’t like fast food, but hamburgers, in their originally idea of just meatballs, are not so bad. So, if you don’t add too many other fatty things, you can enjoy them and not feel guilty.
So I decided to make some larger meatballs with some cheese… are they hamburger ? hum no. Hamburgers’ cousins ? Maybe …LOL
Anyway I think you’ll like them.
They’re just like my usual polpette, but with a larger slice of cheese, anche that’s it.
oops.. need a better picture to show the cheese inside
I wanna do bad things with you 😀
