Nor a romantic neither a new recipe, but a good one. Chickpeas polpette or egg-falafel

200 gr chickpeas – ceci
onion (shallot) – cipolla (scalogno)
parsley – prezzemolo
cumin – cumino
coriander – coriandolo
nutmeg – noce moscata
1 egg – 1 uovo
breadcrumb – pangrattato
salt – sale

Chop the onion and add the spices – tritate lo scalogno e aggiungete le spezie. Chop the (precooked) chickpeas, then mix all the ingredients (some breadcrumb too)* Tritate i ceci (precotti), poi mescolate tutto (un po’ di pane va anche dentro il misto)

Make some balls and roll them in the breadcrumb * fate delle polpettine e impanatele nel pane.

Fry carefully, for they burn very quickly * Friggete con cautela perché bruciano molto velocemente.

They’ll be falling away very quickly 🙂 espcially if you serve them with batbout bread and eat them with your fingers
