.: Happy b-day Youtube

The day April 23, 2005, the first video was posted on Youtube.

Actually… you wouldn’t think YouTube is only 13 years old. Drinking my cappuccino, I think… time flies !

But I feel I’m growing older
And the songs that I have sung
Echo in the distance
Like the sound
Of a windmill goin’ ‘round
I guess I’ll always be
A soldier of fortune

Actually Marty and Doc are right being shocked about “future”… hey! we do not have flying cars yet !!

ok well… maybe some things’d better not change, like coffee or cappuccino 😀

.: Coachella

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (commonly referred to as Coachella or the Coachella Festival) is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, located in the Inland Empire’s Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert.

You can see Coachella live from their youtube channels, from April 13th to April 22nd

and have an idea of what it was before

and an idea of what just happened this year:  on the 14th, Beyoncé brought out Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child for a reunion performance at Coachella Festival.

I wished I was there… just because last night I saw a beautiful film. “Bonneville”. Memories literally assaulted me! From the Salt Flats, to Bryce Canyon and Lake Powell, from Las Vegas to the Ocean… I reminded how beautiful that part of America is and they’re places for soul healing.

And I made a dreaming breakfast this morning… with those beautiful images on my mind

you should see it at least once in life.

.: Jabberwocky

Now I can tell you that you can freeze my yobimé and warm ‘em up in the morning, because I just did it

fa legica busia, fa gisbuto;
e quasi quasi in segno di sberdazzi
gli affarferesti un gniffo. Ma lui, zuto
t’ alloppa, ti sbernecchia; e tu l’accazzi.

Fosco Maraini

Jabberwocky” is considered one of the greatest nonsense poems written in English. Its playful, whimsical language has given English nonsense words and neologisms such as “galumphing” and “chortle”.

‘Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!

Linguist Peter Lucas believes the “nonsense” term is inaccurate. The poem relies on a distortion of sense rather than “non-sense”, allowing the reader to infer meaning and therefore engage with narrative while lexical allusions swim under the surface of the poem.

I need my breakfast to wake up properly. Otherwise I would jabberwock all day… wouldn’t sound nice!
