.: More times

I am developing a passion for chicken in a sauce of tomato and spices.

and I have lots of onions…

and onions…

so I’m gonna cook this spiced tomato sauce chicken many more times…

see previous post for the recipe of sauce. what about the chicken ? put the chicken pieces in a bowl with lemon juice, evo oil, garlic and all the spices you like: pepper, coriander, turmeric, cumin, ginger, paprika and whatever you like. Let the chicken there 1 or 2 hours, then put it in the pan where you have previously cooked the sauce and let it cook until done.

.: Anthem

You probably understood I’ve fallen in love with Emancipator’s music lately XD

Anyway, lift your hand if you don’t like breaded chicken ! Everybody likes it…. right ? but there’s egg in the breading, usually. Well, did you know you can make it just with breadcrumb ?

What ?

Yes !

Just put oil in the pan, put your chicken inside and “oil” it. Sounds funny. Then just add the breadcrumb, cook a little, turn and add more breadcrumb. Believe me!

and if you wanna add some fancy ingredient, use a little tomato sauce

doesn’t look as great as the first one, but it tastes good !

.: Feeling good

Two simple things put together. Chicken and salame or chicken and ham or…whatever you like, to spice it

Two things like a beautiful voice and a perfect song…

Birds flying high
You know how I feel
Sun in the sky
You know how I feel
Breeze driftin’ on by
You know how I feel

It’s a new dawn
It’s a new day
It’s a new life
For me
And I’m feeling good
I’m feeling good

Fish in the sea
You know how I feel
River running free
You know how I feel
Blossom on a tree
You know how I feel

It’s a new dawn
It’s a new day
It’s a new life
For me
And I’m feeling good

Dragonfly out in the sun
You know what I mean,
Don’t you know?
Butterflies all havin’ fun
You know what I mean
Sleep in peace when day is done
That’s what I mean

And this old world
Is a new world
And a bold world
For me
For me

Stars when you shine
You know how I feel
Scent of the pine
You know how I feel
Oh freedom is mine
And I know how I feel

It’s a new dawn
It’s a new day
It’s a new life
It’s a new life
For me
And I’m feeling good

Just put them in a pan and … feel good.

Just two elements, like C and O… can burn.

what do you think about this rendition ?

.: Burn

Sometimes you use a bit much of fire… but things taste good anyway.

So do Whitesnake in their rendition of a famous song by Deep Purple. But I think it’s a very good cover.

And if you want to listen to another great voice (Bruce Dickinson) on this song, clic here. Cerco sempre di stare attenta quando uso la cipolla in padella, ma a volte risulta un po’ troppo “fritta”… però la cipolla fritta è proprio buona. So you’ll probably like this mix, even if you happen to burn the onion a little more… Take: chicken, onion and cheese

First: start to brown the chicken, then add the onion and in the very end, add the cheese.

.: Arahura

Some things look weird and extraordinary from the other side of the planet. Or just from another perspective. For example: can you do a salad with chicken ? “Insalata” con pollo ripassato in padella ? sì !

Have you ever thought New Zealand looks like an upside down Italy ? Well… it seems I’m not the only one who thought so.

Sure they have some extraordinary voices over there… some almost unknow around here.

“Arahura” refers to the like named river in New Zealand. The area was known for the presence of NZ jade (also called greenstone) and was the subject of wars for control of the mineral rich land. The song alludes to the idea that the river has no stake in the conflicts and goes on flowing despite it all.
Arahura, in Māori mythology (specifically that of the Ngāi Tahu people of the South Island), is a divine canoe which was made of pounamu (greenstone).

So lat’s take a canoe… ehm… a bowl, then put some green salad in it. In a pan brown some chicken pieces with oil, lemon, ginger and parsley.

Condite l’insalata con pochissimo olio, sale e origano. Put a little bit of oil, salt and oregano in the green salad. Then add the chicken.

Maybe it’s not as lovable as Marlon’s voice, but it seems nice to me.
