.: Probably me

What? you need energy ?… ok… eggs and cheese………

Very simple recipe: mix an egg, grated parmigiano-reggiano, some breadcrumb and more cheese cubes if you like them

then fry and turn…eh eh.. turning is the difficult part

and what about making it perfectly round ?

Well… energy will flow with any shape 🙂

I hate to say it
I hate to say it, but it’s probably me
You’re not the easiest person I ever got to know
And it’s hard for us both to let our feelings show
Some would say I should let you go your way
You’ll only make me cry
If there’s one gal, just one gal
Who’d lay down his life for you and die
It’s hard to say it
I hate to say it, but it’s probably me

.: Banana test

This is my second test with bananas. I think it’s not bad, especially for, let’s say, an “anglosaxon breakfast”. We do not eat eggs in the morning, but this could be something pleasant for a rich breakfast.

The recipe is similar to that of my fritcake, but with some variations:
1 egg – 1 uovo
cream – panna da cucina (1 spoon * 1 cucchiaio)
flour (1 spoon) – farina (1 cucchiaio)
grated bread (1 spoon) – pangrattato (1 cucchiaio)
Asiago cheese
cinnamon – cannella
1/2 banana
(sweet) butter – burro

Chop the cheese in small thin slices * tritate il formaggio a fettine piccole e sottili. * Whip the eggwhite * montate il bianco a neve

Blend the yolk with the cinnamon, the cream, the smashed banana, the flour * Mescolate il tuorlo con la cannella, la panna, la banana schiacciata, la farina

Add the bread and the cheese * Aggiungete il pangrattato e le scaglie di formaggio.

Finally add the whipped eggwhite and blend * Infine unite il bianco montato a neve

Fry in a pan greased with little butter: be careful, will burn easily * friggete in una padellina con poco burro: attenzione, frigge subito.

It’s a pretty fluffy and sweet omelette with a cheesy heart. Well.. maybe banana taste is a bit too sweet..

To complement this experiment, I offer you something I discovered today: The Nortons. If you love blues, you will be delighted.

Have a good Labor day. I know in USA and Canada it will be in September, but hey… it is today for us here. More than 80 countries celebrate International Workers’ Day on May 1 – the ancient European holiday of May Day. Buon 1° Maggio!

.: Similarities

Some things look alike, but small differences can turn out in completely odd results. For example, compare these two songs: similar but so different.

And now compare next recipe with the other omelettes I made before: similar but very different. E ora guardate questa ricetta: la solita frittata ? forse sì, forse no. Io dico di no. Onions and ham. Cipolle e prosciutto.

Allora: preparate cipolla, formaggio, uovo e prosciutto cotto. E anche un po’ di pangrattato. So: get onion, cheese, 1 egg (I just do 1 egg for myself), ham and some grated bread.

Put the onion in the warm oil, then add the mix beaten egg+cheese+grated bread

And add on top the ham. Be careful for not burning the onion below the egg.

E infine giratela un attimo, Then turn it just a few seconds, and turn it again, upside down.

Looks like a pizza. But it’s not.

.: Magic geometry

Would you believe it’s so hard to make an irregular omelette? I do.

This was the first sign… it came out a perfect circle.

So I thought “ok, it was by chance”.

Hey what about a hexagon zucchini omelette?

really… I don’t understand the physics of this phenomenon !

I had to make another one, to realize the previous ones actually where just a coincidence…

phheeew… I’m not a sourcerer…
